​PEDAGOGY FORUM

The Humanitarianisms pedagogy forum provides an innovative open-access platform for scholars to publish pedagogical work for a large audience of readers and experiment in their classrooms with diverse teaching formats developed by colleagues from across the world. ​This forum brings together a thriving community of instructors who wish to create engaging pedagogical content in the classroom. ​
Our pedagogy forum features a variety of topics on humanitarianism, including (but not limited to) refugee studies, migration, humanitarian aid, natural disasters, development, moral practices of care and hospitality, and religious humanitarianism in the Global South. ​We ask that instructors who adopt samples from our pedagogy forum acknowledge original authorship their teaching materials.
We offer four categories of materials:
  1. Full-term syllabi. 
  2. Prompts for individual student or student team projects.
  3. ​Course modules that offer structured class content based on thematic foci ranging from one to several weeks.
  4. Short class assignments that engage students for a maximum of one class session. ​​​​​
